Alexandria Europe Ltd t/a Blacklake Europe – Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by Alexandria Europe Ltd during the financial year ending April 2026 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.

This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of Alexandria Europe Ltd.

1. Business, Structure and Supply Chains

Alexandria Europe Ltd is a UK-registered company providing data analytics, advisory services and broader intelligence to clients across national security and advanced technology sectors. The company operates as part of a wider ecosystem of innovation and capability partners across Europe and North America.

Our operations are headquartered in the United Kingdom, with activities spanning project management, consultancy, technology integration, and digital infrastructure design. We employ a mix of permanent staff, consultants, and specialist subcontractors to deliver projects for government, institutional, and corporate clients.

Our supply chains primarily involve:

• Professional services providers (technology, research, analytics, and consulting)

• IT and software suppliers

• Office, facilities, and administrative suppliers

• Specialist subcontractors supporting defence and security projects

2. Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policies

Alexandria Europe Ltd is committed to conducting all business with integrity and transparency. We have adopted the following internal policies and codes to ensure ethical conduct across our operations and supply chain:

• Code of Conduct – requiring all employees, consultants, and partners to uphold the highest standards of ethical behaviour and respect for human rights.

• Supplier Code of Conduct – incorporated into supplier and subcontractor agreements, setting out clear expectations that all business partners must comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and applicable labour standards.

• Recruitment and Employment Policy – ensuring that recruitment is carried out in line with UK employment law, without the use of forced, bonded, or involuntary labour, and that all employees have the right to work freely.

• Procurement Policy – requiring due diligence checks on new suppliers, including verification of ethical standards and compliance with anti-slavery legislation.

• Whistleblowing Policy – providing a confidential mechanism for employees, contractors, and suppliers to report any concerns about unethical conduct or potential instances of modern slavery.

All policies are accessible internally and form part of employee onboarding and supplier engagement processes. Non-compliance with these policies may result in disciplinary action, contract termination, or reporting to relevant authorities.

3. Risk Assessment, Prevention and Mitigation

We recognise that the risk of modern slavery is higher in complex or international supply chains. Alexandria Europe Ltd undertakes ongoing risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in the following areas:

• Outsourced and subcontracted technical services

• Overseas technology vendors and data processing providers

• Use of contingent or temporary labour through third-party agencies

We use publicly available resources such as the Global Slavery Index and the US Department of State’s Trafficking in Persons Report to inform our understanding of country- and sector-level risks.

To mitigate risks, we:

• Source from reputable UK and EU-based suppliers wherever feasible

• Assess new suppliers through pre-engagement questionnaires and ethical screening

• Maintain open communication with key suppliers to reinforce standards and expectations

4. Due Diligence Processes

Alexandria Europe Ltd applies proportionate due diligence processes in relation to new and

existing suppliers, including but not limited to:

• Conducting compliance checks on ownership, location, and ethical practices

• Including anti-slavery and human rights clauses in contracts

• Reviewing supplier statements and certification where applicable

• Reserving the right to audit or terminate contracts if a supplier is found to be in breach of anti-slavery or human rights obligations

If any instance of modern slavery or human trafficking were identified in our business or supply chain, Alexandria Europe Ltd would take immediate action, including suspending the relationship, initiating an investigation, and reporting to the relevant authorities.

5. Training and Capacity Building

We recognise that awareness is key to preventing exploitation. Alexandria Europe Ltd provides training and guidance to all employees involved in procurement, contract management, and supplier engagement to ensure they understand:

• How to identify signs of modern slavery and human trafficking

• How to escalate concerns or suspected cases

• Their responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015

Training is provided through internal briefings, onboarding sessions, and periodic online modules. Senior management are responsible for ensuring continued staff awareness and for reinforcing a zero-tolerance approach across all business areas.

Future Commitments

In the coming year, Alexandria Europe Ltd will continue to strengthen its approach by:

• Expanding supplier engagement and ethical screening processes

• Reviewing and updating the Supplier Code of Conduct

• Increasing staff awareness and training frequency

• Continuing to assess evolving risks within global technology and defence supply chains
